Fundy National Park

The 207 square kilometer Fundy National Park is a popular site not only for exploring ocean creatures but also for hiking and trekking. In fact, the park features around 25 hiking trails including the Caribou Plains trail and the Dickson Falls trail, which is the most popular. The national park was established in 1948 and receives around 230,000 visitors each year.

Fundy National Park is one of the 44 national parks being operated and administered by Parks Canada. The park is also home to more than a thousand species of plants as well as animals such as beavers, black bears, raccoons, falcons and many more. Aside from wildlife watching, there are also plenty of outdoor opportunities available within the premises. A golf course can be found within the park as well as a heated saltwater swimming pool, three campgrounds and about 100 kilometers of hiking and biking trails. Visitors also come to the park to go winter walking, snowshoeing, tobogganing and cross-country skiing.
